Embracing Goodnow's Rich History...

While Providing Visionary Spaces for the Future.

The Goodnow Library Foundation was established in 2008 by the Trustees of the Library to support the Goodnow Library's mission of "Improving lives through the power of information, ideas, and innovation." The Trustees recognized the urgent need to provide an additional source of revenue for the growing demands of Goodnow in the 21st century: capital improvements, technology upgrades, and physical refurbishments and renovations.

As more and more communities embrace library foundations as a forward-thinking way of securing the future of their libraries, the GLF is proud to have donated approximately $500,000 to the Library since its inception as a 501(c)(3). Our projects – all focused on providing the extra margin of excellence for the Library – have been supported by various funding sources including private gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.

The GLF's Annual Appeal

It’s that time of year again! Mailboxes are starting to fill with holiday catalogs and signs of the upcoming winter season. But did you also notice that a letter from the GLF popped into your mailbox this week? Please do open!

If you didn't receive our Annual Appeal letter in your mailbox, click HERE to read!

Last year, 363 donors contributed to the GLF. Our goal is an increase of 10% to reach 400 donors. Will you be one of them?
