Parvez Hakim is an Executive Director at Novartis, a global pharmaceutical company. His role includes being a Therapy Area lead and strategic advisor to the leadership. He has more than 10 years as a strategy consultant in healthcare and life sciences with deep scientific, commercial and transaction strategy experience. Team leader with track record in developing teams and capabilities in US and Europe. Strong believer in balancing strong work ethic with a highly spirited and personable environment. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from King’s College London and a PhD in Physiology from University of Cambridge. Parvez has lived with his wife (a fellow Brit) and 2 children (full blown Americans) in Sudbury since 2021, and enjoys cooking, travelling and listening to as many podcasts as possible.
